Beat: Lost headsup for a wpt seat

I don't think I'll ever win a live seat again. 5th bubble (within 5 places) in the past few months. :(

  • Thats definitely crappy...sorry to hear. Was it due to a suckout (making it an even worse beat)?
  • thats discouraging for sure.. keep up the good work tho
  • Is there a bad beat that goes with this story?
  • Don't give up. Keep trying... you're close. Try to figure out where you're going wrong. Are you going to the final table with too few chips? Is your short-handed game not up to par? Figure it out and try again.

I play lots of short-handed and heads up games just for practice. I find it helps me out alot when I get deep into a tournament.
  • No bad beat, just simply had a lot of 2nd best hands. Started down 3:1, could only close it to 2:1. Ended up losing 33 < QQ
  • I went into the FT on Stars 2 years ago as a massive chip leader, top 3 got WSOP seats, 4th got $900+.

With 5 left my whole world crumbled to shit.

3 hands in a row I called all ins with rags like KK, QQ and AA vs top 6 hands like 74 soooted, K3 offsooot, and 97 offsoot. What was I thinking?

I lost all 3 hands and went busto out in 5th, no money, no seat. I know I should have folded to make the final 3, but I just couldn't find it in me to fold such great cards.

The image in OP is too small so I don't know what it says?
  • Hmm any way to make an image clickable to make it bigger?
  • Here's another one. I love flipping for $11k. 99 < AJ
  • Ouch...sorry to hear
