Great! Thanks. It was over by midnight. For awhile, I thought it would end alot sooner than that, what with us four way around 10pm, but it worked out fine.
Maybe by the next one Joe and I will have some free time. I hope so ..
I miss playin poker with you all ..
Like I said, I'm thinking of holding these 'invitational' type games on a monthly or six week rotation, different kind of game each time. Next one will most likely be PL Omaha, and maybe after that, holding a satellite for one of the local tourneys. I'll get Buddy or a couple of others to keep me posted on whats coming around to run sats for.
I got lucky more than a couple of times against you...hitting quads twice helped
If you don't think hitting quads twice helped your playing the wrong game.
I'm glad it was a success and hopefully I'll be able to get out to the next one. Poker is taking a very large back seat to the rest of my life right now.
Unfortunately, the only decent casino tournament in the foreseable future is the $2,000+$100 Tournament of Champions at Great Blue Heron Casino on December 11-12. If any other forumers are interested in a satellite for that Skill Level 6 tournament besides pokerJAH, myself and a couple of others I know, maybe they can post here or in the GBH thread. If there are 20 players, the buy-in would be around $110. If STR82ACE will not be having a satellite in Brampton before December 11, The_Game may be willing to host one in Mississauga as soon as this Wednesday. OLG Casino Brantford has not announced if or when they will be having any more Skill Level 6 events, so it could be a very long wait for the next decent tournament.

I would be interested in that. Maybe one of the Brantford Winter Classic tournaments which usually take place in January.
