Potluck & Friendly Poker Fridays

See amended note below

Comments

  • We are trying to establish a tradition going forward in hosting potluck & friendly poker every Fridays at my place in North Brampton if anyone is interested in coming out and making some new acquaintances.

First, Potluck gathering commencing at 7pm sharp (simply bring a food dish of your choice and share it with the rest of the gang) with the tourney style no limit hold'em starting shortly after dinner OR when we reached the desired 10-12 players so come out early!

We will try to get two games in every Friday: $10/$20 buy-in for the first main pot and $5/$10 buy-in on the second "speed poker style" game (time permitting). Winner takes all format on both games with the second place finisher on the main game getting their money back. Optional re-buy during the main game at half your starting chipstack is also available. House deals, small blind shuffles with blinds going up every round or so just to keep the pace moving and to accomodate the format of the evening.

Message me ahead of time if you are planning to come out and join the weekly festivities as seat could be limited to first come first serve basis. Nearest intersection is at the corner of Creditview Road and Sandalwood Parkway.

NOTE: No booze please - let's keep this as is - friendly gathering!!!

    Regards,

    Michael
  • Ok just a guess but i'm thinking this person is more interested in the food then the poker.I'm not saying he is over weight but as a gambler i would put money on it.I would also bet that the chips and the cards need to have the food cleaned off them after 1 of these food or i mean poker partys.

Ok so the person who made this post obviously has great people reading skills. I should know because I happen to possess this rare talent myself. I will prove it as I disect this persons psyche using his only contribution on this board without using my hands and while wearing a blindfold.

Without a doubt this person has typed this post on a keyboard that is encrusted with dried bodily fluids. I am not saying he is a hermit or a sexual deviant however the musty little den he inhabits deep within the bowels of his parents basement is surely covered with a bouquet of Star Trek The Next Generation pictures and a Chris Moneymaker poster, purchased with several months worth of FPP points grinded out $.02 - $.04 NL.

The gambler in me would put his lifetime earnings from poker somewhere between -$2200 and -$2642.66 and the over/under on his daily masturbatory habits at 6.

  • Caddy's post wasn't directed at you, but rather the derogatory comments about you made by pokeher.

Hobbes hit the nail on the head. No offence to you McFlip.

I would probably take you up on this if you didn't live so far away.

My contribution to the pot luck would my special "SPHINCTER MELTING CHILLI." For the uninitiated my chilli has toxic effects. I would simply mop-up and let rest of the table get blinded off while they are in the bathroom.

    +EV for me.
