The Cook Crew is pleased to announce: KW Chaos No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament Friday, September 9th at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:30pm)
To celebrate the chaos of back to school and the end of summer, we will be having a fairly "loose" tournament the weekend after labour day (thanks to JohnnieH and Wolffhound for the idea). Players will receive 1000 chips for a $10 buy-in. Players will have unlimited rebuys (another 1000 chips for $5) if they fall to 999 chips or less during the first 4 levels (once you are a single chip below the buy-in). There will be no add-on. Tables will be limited to 8 players per table. "Robert's Rules" will be used to resolve any disputes. The main tournament is planned to last approximately 3-5 hours depending on the number of players. People are free to play additional games during and after the main tournament as tables become available.
Blinds
The blind levels will be 10-20, 15-30, 20-40, 30-60, 50-100, 75-150, 100-200, 150-300, 200-400, 300-600, 400-800, 600-1200, 800-1600, 1000-2000, 1500-3000, 2000-4000 (at which point they will increase 1000-2000 each level).

Thanks to everyone for coming out. I was really pleased with the turnout considering the short notice and summer heat. 18 players started and generated a $250 pot.
4th. "Moose" Rob ($25)
3rd. "DrTyore" Mark ($40)
2nd. "KangaX5" Jenn ($65)
1st. "BigE" Eric ($120)
Great game everyone! Lots of fun, thanks for the heads up Steve. Again, nothing personal, I figuired Folded wasn't there so I would play the roll of King Donk tonight!
On a side note, Sandy haven't seen that kind of bad karma since Dr Larry blew 700.00 in a .25/.50 game at Mooses
Just an FYI... if you're playing a $2 rebuy, and play every hand for the first 2.5 - 3 orbits.. you need at LEAST 3rd place money
Mark
heheheh that was a pretty unlucky run the first 3 orbits dude....but sweet job to take 3rd when the dust settled. I think the horseshoe I had surgically implanted paid off when I won the first pot with the entire table all-in blind!!!! That $6000 head start was nice!
Great game everyone and thanks for hosting Cook Crew, it was nice to get back out to a live game after being away so long, I had a blast the atmosphere and company was excellent. Jenn, it was fun to play heads-up with you...those Aces at the end really came in handy

This retro poker night circa 2005 brought to you by:
KEM Playing Cards, Pepi's Pizza, and the Cook Crew Casino.
Can't wait, see you all tonight!
Mark
So the KWTC buy-in is HALF of the cost of the tournament? Nice.
"I'm in, but not 100%, start me, and if I'm not there by the end of the 2nd level, take me out"
He's at a football game, and the other team may forfeit, so if that happens, he's coming
Mark
No, Wolffie's not on the list. But Trevor's place was the first KW tourney I played almost exactly two years ago this very night.
