Short-handed No-Limit Texas Hold'em Shoot-out
Aug 14 - Aug 22, @7pm
(doors open, for all games, at 6:30pm)

$20 Buy-in

Day 1a: Aug 14th (Tues)
Day 1b: Aug 16th (Thurs)
Day 1c: Aug 20th (Mon)
Day 2 (Final table): Aug 22nd (Wed)

3rd place - 15 (or 0 if at a 5 player table)
4th-6th place - 0 points

HOW TO RESERVE A SEAT: Sign up below, indicating which Day 1(s), you're able to play. (ie. A and C, for instance). The players will be split evenly amongst the three Day 1's and each Day 1 will play two 6-max until there is one winner at each table. Each Day 1 winner will come back on Day 2 for the final table. You must be available to play on the Day 2 date to particiapte in this tournament!

On Day 1, each player will recieve 4,000 chips for their $20 buy-in. Blinds will follow the traditional Bristol St. blind schedule with no antes and 25 minute blinds. Day 1 tournaments should last ~4 hours.

On Day 2, each player will recieve 10,000 chips and the same blinds schedule as Day 1 will be followed. The expected run time of the final table is 5.5-6 hours.

Late players: If you know you're going to be late, please phone and a seat and chips will be set out for you and you will post blinds and fold until you arrive.

Imbalanced tables: If less than 36 players sign up for this event it is likely that some Day 1 tables will have 5 players and some will have 6. I can't think of a fair way to handle this other than promise that it will be a random draw for which table you'll be on and the players will be evenly divided between days. If someone has another suggestion, I'm open to considering it, up until the point where registration is closed.

Blind schedule, chip values, rules, etc, etc, will be posted at my place, or you may msg me for specifics.

As always, tournaments at Bristol Street are rake-free!

    If it doesn't fill, front load days A and B to fill them and run a second chance sng each night with the winner getting entry into day C. Turbo blinds. $5 entry fee.

    About the "second chance". Would people be bitter that the potentially lost to someone at the Final Table that they busted out on a Day 1?

    I guess if you change it to a rebuy tournament, there is not much to say, I would perfer it stays the same as originally written.
