the addition of a cash game during the tournament is great; hopefully this will continue in the future. We had 7/8 players for the duration of the early stages of the tournament until the second cash table opened up. Played for just over 5 hours and only ended up $40 but still a positive session so I can't complain. I had AA three times during the night which is pretty amazing (and I didn't go broke once over playing them). How's this for four back-to-back hands: AA, AK, AA, AQ. From these hands I made the most money with AK when the flop came 510K and my opponent raised $20 and I raised another $50, at which point he turned over the aces and folded thinking I had two pairs. Of course I went card dead after these great cards.

Did you collect your high hand payout before the game shut down? That must have been a pretty nice bonus after those two weeks of cash games. You did manage to dodge my royal flush draw at 5:00 a.m. on the second Saturday.
Broadcasting an illegal poker event's address or other identifying information (such as the owner's name, compuease!) via website or email has become a highly -ev move (pun intended! ). The OPP Illegal Gambling Unit road tour continues, with a couple more clubs all the way in Chatham being raided. Underground operators that want to minimize the risk of getting arrested should only give out their address by phone, and restrict admission to people that he has personally screened or a trusted player can vouch for.
