Long W/E Moose Mid-Stack $25 Cambridge

It's the Long W/E but for some reason it is always a holiday on my B-day, so I get to have a tournament but MM gets final approval on the player list.

$25 for $5000 in chips
30 min blinds
/g2 deep stack blind schedule
Something like that anyways.
Subject to adjustments because I am posting this before working out the exact details.

Sat. May 19, 2007. Doors open 12:30. Cards in the air 1 pm.

Hopefully it is nice day and we can play in the fresh air.

BYOB, BYOS but the BBQ is available.

    List up to date. Note I am pulling out the Desert Sands ceramics for this one so I hope we get two tables.

    As I said above I will adjust the chips/blind times so we get about a 7-8 hour tourney.

    I cut the blinds by 5 min to get this thing wrapped up by 9 pm. Still should be nice and generous and hopefully most people will still be around for dinner. Blinds are nice and gradual after dinner, and then they get aggressive as we wrap it up.

    Weather should be reasonably warm, partly sunny. :)

    Ok, I made a taco dip and a potato salad, for everybody. :) We should be there just before shuffle up and deal. Joe maybe in bad shape cause he went to the bar after work friday afternoon. I had to make him come home. :) Lets just say he was a little tipsy. or in Joes case alot tipsy cause he didnt eat anything all freaking day. But we will be there. :) ... YOu can make fun of him all you want. I will be all the way there .. lol.. See you tomorrow.

    You do relize there will only be around 50000 chips in play right? I don't think we will be going to 8000--16000. Just thought I would mention it, otherwise this tourney probably ends by 6:00-6:30

    Shit I was looking at the small blind. 9 players - bumped it to 6000 chips and 30 min blinds - should end around the 1000/2000 level, which starts now at 8:15 pm. The plan was always to have it done by 9 pm. The rest of the levels were a just in case thing.

    Let's get the important things out of the way: Blue is on sale, Moosehead is on sale, Coors Light is on sale, Corona is on sale...Beer store is 2 min from my house and I've been making ice all day.

    Brent chops the first with Waltsfriend after pushing me allin with his AK vs my QQ when we were 3 handed. Then we had a nice BBQ and started a second sng, which of course Brent took down again after sucking me out huge with his K10 vs my AK, soon after he sucked out on Waltsfriend and completed the sucky day by rivering a flush against Joe's KK. Nothing like eliminating the last three players after calling the allin when you are behind.

    Thanks for coming everyone. My liver has 2 days to recover now.

    Thanks for having us out. It was a fun afternoon. My liver will need a little help too. Now to find out what really happened when Brent and the Hoe went to DQ...... :)

    Um Brent you forgot to give me my cut of your winnings I believe that was the deal at DQ, for you large suck out against my two pair. :) .

    Other then that nothing happened at DQ, other then poker talk. :)

    Thanks again the Fran and Rob and the little bundble of joyful energy , for having us over. I had a great time, the whole day. Could not have asked for a better day of poker friends food and fun. :)

    We need to plan a few more of these in the future. Keep in mind if we do this we should plan it about three weeks in advance so I can book the day off work :)..
