Format: 2 day Super Deepstack NL Holdem Freezeout
Buyin: $60
Day 1: Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007
Final Table: Friday, May 4th, 2007

For $2 you can pick 6 players (no repeats). Points will be awarded for each place according to the chart below. When all is said and done whoever has the most points wins the pool (or split upon a tie).

Picks (and replacement picks) can be made by posting here, or by PM, or by my regular email, or by emailing gtwo (at) pokerforum (dot) ca

Anyone who knows me (or can get someone to vouch for them) is eligible to participate. That includes players in the tourney.

No big rush on getting me the $2... I'll be in KW from May-August. Payment can also be made via PokerStars (g2poker, Waterloo).

See here for a spreadsheet tracking everyone's picks. It will be updated as live as possible while the tourney is going on (i.e. every break).
Rules (subject to change w/out notice)
1. If someone you picked drops out, you have the option of picking someone else... but if you don't tell me who by the close date you will be given their replacement as your new pick
2. You can change your picks at any time, but everyone's picks will be final as of the close date: 4:59pm Wed May 2nd

11th-20th 1pt

20 players will start Day 1. Only 10 will advance to the final table on Day 2.

    I'm gonna ask a dumb question so feel free to answer in kind. Can we double up on the picks....ie can I pick 5 people and pick 1 twice and double his/her points? Really what I want to know is if I can pick myself and Prophet 3 times each? ie. I bust out and am worth 1pt*3=3 plus he wins and I get 15pts*3=45. I figure I'll donate all my chips to my right hand man and he'll have a cakewalk to the top 3! Let me know cause thats my pick if its kosher.

    Good question. Updating rules right now. Psst... the answer is no.

    And I really doubt that anyone will be able to cakewalk anywhere in this tourney.

    That's just a chart of the pts that happens to be next to the chart of names in alpha order. If it was meant to be a prediction on finishes clearly g2 would be at the top! :)

    In the unlikely event that someone drops out after the deadline I will automatically fill in their replacement as the new pick. After deadline I will only be accepting changes to picks in person or by cellphone (if you're lucky enough to have my # ;) ) up until SU&D.
