Sorry all. Just getting online for the first time in a few days. To answer the above questions..
- I believe we have everything we need. beanie's bringing 8 chairs, a table and a table top. Confirming with moose that he'll bring 8 charis, and I picked up 4 more at Crappy Tire before I left town.
- Added "melikebeer" Jordo, to the list. He's now first on the waiting list, so I think the chances are exceedingly good that at least one person will cancel.
- I counted chips out before I left town and I have enough for 6 tables of starting chips (8 green x 25, 8 black X 100) We have enough for each table to take an averate of 32 rebuys, plus enough to cover all addons, present bags and some left ovet for colouring up. I think we're good!!
- I've altered the blind schedule to match last year's so that there's a tad more action after the break. Please note that if we do fill up, I have no doubt that the game will end sometime between 2-3am.
In other news...
- I recommend using the streets around me for additional parking as our little road will likely fill up.
- I'm asking that people come through the garage, and leave your shoes in there before coming in. Makes for less clutter around the front door.
- Seating assignments will be drawn a couple hours before the tourney starts and will be posted (to make the start go faster)
- With 5 and 6 tables left, tables will need to be out of balance by more than 2 players before we'll move players. With 4 or less, tables will be balanced as normal.
- Each table will have a nominated captain to help me take care of rebuys and add-ons.
- I think that's about it for now. I'm really looking forward to this one!
Lets see, 32 rebuys per table, that's an average of 4 per person, or 5 buyins each x $5. =$25. x 48 players or $1200. prize pool potential..... well not that far off a WSOP preliminary event buyin at least.... lol. and this is supposed to be only a fun event? This may get pretty serious by final table. Who am I kidding, all Bristols get serious when we get right down to it, nothing to do with the money... It's the status baby! Rob u are the best! It's only a matter of time before the WPT or WSOP lure you away from Bristol..... Everyone has a price...
P.S. as defending champ I request to be at both Braad and Cory's table.. and ...... have them on my right! Worked last time....

As of this evening, we've had Wes cancel, so I'm confirming with Anthony D if he can make it. I mentioned to him that I need to hear by 3pm if he can as the next person, Brad, would be coming from out of town and would need some heads up.
That said, it would not surprise me at all if we get cancellations/no shows to allow both Brad and Dave to play.
Also, to keep the friendly nature intact, I'm going to pay out the Top 8 positions according to the formula that Trevor put together for his main Event. (OP is now updated with this info)
