What's the deal on advertizing other websites?

What is the policy on advertising other websites (not poker related)? Can this be done in the advertising section if I want to promote a site where I may receive a referral bonus. Again, this would not be a poker site specifically. Cheers.

    thanks for asking (as opposed to just going ahead and doing it) considering that you obviously haven't signed up just to post your site (long post history) please feel free to post about it in the offtopic lounge.
