The Cook Crew is pleased to announce:
:DThe Cook Crew "Bounty Shootout" :D
No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament
Friday, December 1st at 7:00pm
(doors open at 6:30pm)

After mentioning most future events will be Saturday night, the kids have a PD day, so we'll be going Friday ;) . Players will receive 2500 chips and a bounty chip for a $20 buy-in. There will be no rebuys or add-on. Players will receive $5 from the prize pool for each player they knock out, and the remainder of the prize pool will be used for the final table payouts. Play will cease on each table when it gets down to 2 players (or top 3 if we start with 3 tables) and these players will advance to the final table (with their bounty chips). Players at the final table will each start with 5000 chips.

"Robert's Rules" will be used to resolve any disputes. The blind levels will be 25-25, 25-50, 50-100, 75-150, 100-200, 150-300, 200-400, 300-600, 400-800, 600-1200, 800-1600, 1000-2000, 1500-3000. Each level will be 15 minutes long for the preliminary tables, and 20 minutes long for the final table. The tournament is expected to last 4-6 hours. People are free to play additional games as tables become available.

Payout(all games are rake-free)
1st place - 45%
2nd place - 25%
3rd place - 15%
4th place - 10%
5th place - 5%
Prizes below first will be rounded up to the next $5. In the event that we have less than 20 players (or more than 25), our standard payout chart will be used.

    I'd just like to politely point out that in the last shootout tournament, I busted after something like 3-4 hours, finished 3rd, and still finished out of the money.
