looking for interest -- Sat. to Rama's Fall Classic

I'm looking to see if there is interest for a satellite to Rama's Fall Classic. Looking for 10/11 people for a $125 buy in with the winner getting a seat to the fall classic.

It would be 30 minute blinds with a starting stack of $4K, running the afternoon of Dec. 2, 2006 in Bradford. Could run with 8 for a buy in of $160.

    I'm planning to carpool to Casino Rama by next week, but if I haven't won a satellite seat by December 2, I am interested. Does the second place finisher get the remaining cash, AcidJoe? Can the participants get a share if the winner makes it to the money, just like the forum WPT satellites?

    The remaining cash would go to 2nd. I was thinking that a share should go to all participants at the table. Before I got into the fine details I wanted to know if there was enough interest.

    Since it probably will sell out, I would need 8 committed by Nov. 18th to secure a voucher and set it up. If not I will cancel it. I was thinking something of 2nd 4% 3rd 3% 4th 2 % 5-10 1% of the winners share.

    I know of 8 people so far who at least expressed interest in playing in a satellite. One person is willing to host it in Mississauga while another person is willing to host in mid-town Toronto. Acid Joe, in case both of us don't have 10-20 players, let me know how many of your players would be interested in playing in Mississauga. If the deadline to secure a seat is next week, we should schedule this soon.

    I was planning to go to Casino Rama tomorrow after playing in a cash tournament, but their $160 satellite is such a crapshoot. It is so bad that you pay for the big blind only a couple of times before you get eliminated! :rage:

    It appears that the interest isn't there. I won't be running one however I will be playing the Fall Classic. However the US thanksgiving weekend tourney is a go.
