On my way there now via public transport, which is the way to get around Montreal for sure. Way faster than car.
Anyways I plan on playing PLO if I can get on, boring NL if not. Hopefully they have USB chargers so I can keep my phone charged and this thread updated. Will try and update with interesting hands, my impressions of the place, etc.

Going good so far haven't switched from 1/2 yet. Up 150 at the moment.
Fyi rake is a bit high at 10% max 10 but with free food and drink I think it's worth it

Just hit a big hand first hand after taking a break. Missed my blind but posted $3 in the cutoff. No raise I have A,10cc. Flop kc, jc, 10d. Mid position bets 10, I raise to 20, call, call. Turn a perfect 2c. Check to me, I bet 45, both call. I'm thinking A or Q no pair the Board. Perfect Ah comes. Check to me in the cutoff, I shove hoping someone has Q. Button hums and haws, finally calls with the Q, talked him into thinking it was a split pot... he was a real table donator. He bought in once more, lost half of it on the next hand and left.. boooo

It’s English cards there. French at the casino, but they aren’t running poker yet.
Playground is the best place to play. Menu is different depending on stakes you’re playing.
