Miss me? What's up all you negative expectation biatches? Been a while.

First off, I'm amazed to see that some of you guys still have bankroll to keep playing poker. That's unbelievable considering how terrible your thought processes are, how scared you are OF losing and how flawless you are AT losing.

I guess there is really a boom the trick turning industry. Compuease knows this grind better than anyone. As rates go down, volume has to go up. For that level of perseverance, I say, 'congrats'.

To everyone who isn't here anymore because they went busto: It was for the best. No one needs to read about how you folded aces pre-flop because you woulda lost on the river. Starbucks needs baristas that can mumble about bad beats, getting out-drawn and still perfect my caramel double soy latte. You are loved.

What's your #1 boy been up to for the last 10 years? Where to begin. I'm the 10-time WSOP Limit Hold'em $1 buy-in or less world champion, I win by default because all you pussies are too wimpy to enter a man's sport like Limit Hold'em. You want 'action' instead of fundamentals? Well your action is well-earned in the Brantford charity casino bathroom earning that next buy-in you just lost.

I kid.

I was smart enough to understand that poker is a literal life dead-end. The joy and stress you are deriving from shuffling pennies around on mom's kitchen table is worthless. The 'friendships' with the other degenerates at the table is plastic. The grind is infinite. You will never play enough hands to know what the long-term even is. You are at the whim of variance and your actions barely matter.

The pros on tv lie to you. There are no long-term winners in poker, there are only guys running hot due to variance, and fake tournaments/collusion to keep propping up the big names. All your favs are backrolled by super rich MFs that literally don't care, they just want to control branding. 'Soul-Reads' are just degenerates getting lucky that their random guess was right and lucky that someone was there to capture it on video. Then they act like they knew what the f they were doing. It's turtles all the way down people. Lies built on lies built on lies.

But BBC_Z, I wasted the best years of my life on this game! It can't all be for nothing, can it? Yes it can. Forget about sitting at a poker table riding out the clock to your next heart attack. Give this crap game up, go out and be something real.

If this motivates one person around here to re-think why they play poker, then yet again, I will have literally SAVED LIVES around here and you are welcome.

But in all seriousness, give up poker. It's probably killing you.

I am not sure if you are really really sour, joking or really hate poker. Poker is a great game, and just like anything else you have to take it in moderation. If you decided to collect stamps and never leave your house it can take over your life as well. Its nice to have a community so that you can talk to other users about what you enjoy doing.

Personally for me I love the game, I love the math and I love playing with other users. Its like learning anything new, it can be fun and exciting. If you no longer have love for the game you might be in the wrong place :)
