Comp's week at the WSOP and elsewhere, May 31-June 7

First break. I’m at 27,900 and avg is 31,667. 228 runners so far with registration open for another 4 levels. Here’s a few hands I’ve played (haven’t played many cause the cards suck for the most part).

AhKs in SB, raise to 500, 1 limp and I call. AQx flop I check to raiser, he bets 500 limper calls and I raise to 1500. Both Vs fold.

AA in EP, I raise to 600 and BB calls. Q high rainbow flop I bet 800 and V folds

JJ utg raise to 500 and 4 callers. A45 flop all diamonds checked around. 2x turn first to act bets 500 I call and rest fold. River 3 puts bicycle on the board. We both check and V turns over TT split pot.

Half way through level 8 and I finally get somewhere. KQos in the cutoff. 5 limp to see the flop. Flop comes KQ8 2 spades (I don’t have spades. First to act checks, next bets 1300, I raise to 3000, button shoves and I’m the only caller. Button shows K8 and my 2 pair holds. Up to 57000, avg stack is 42700.

2 hands later I get AA in the BB. UTG folds, next guy raises to 3000, 1 caller and I raise to 6000. Both V’s call. KQT flop 2 spades (I have As). Checked to me I bet 7000 and 1 caller. Turn brings 3rd spade. Check check river brings 9x. V checks I bet 7000 and V folds. Scoop another nice pot. Up to 75700 at 2nd break - avg is 43,788

Just stacked guy to my right. I have 22 in the CO-1. We end up with 5or 6 limpers. Flop comes QQ2. Checked around to V on my right who bets 3000 so I smooth call and everyone else folds. Turn is K. V bets I raise he shoves and I call. He shows QT. River is a J and I bust him. Up to 102,000.

End of level 11. I’ve been bleeding of chips a bit. Down to 76,500 and avg stack is 72,980. 99 runners left. Next level is 1000-2000-2000 so my M is around 15. Need to hit a few hands in the next level.

End of level 13. Shove/fold mode now. 64 left. Need a quick double up.

End of level 14. I’m at 68,000. Avg is 131,164. 55 left.

Early on in level 15 I get A4 in SB. 4 callers in front of me so I complete and BB checks. Flop AAx. Checked around to me so I check and BB checks. Turn a blank. I check and one V bets around 17000. One caller so I shove and both V’s fold.

Two hand later I get TT. Folded to my right. He calls and I raise to 10000. V to my left shoves for around 55000. Guy on my right thinks and folds and I call. V turns over A9 and my T’s hold up. Up to almost 200000. Avg is 157000 and 46 left.
