As you have already noticed by archiving all games older than one year into yet another subforum, a game's relevance diminishes once the event date passes. If there are so many games listed that active games go past a single screen, I could see the point. As it is, I strongly do not like having to click through so many subforums looking for games.

Well i don't have to put older games in a sub forum.. that's was just a quick way to clean up older games. they can live on forever in the forum they were created in. That's not an issue to me! I want the old threads there for looking back up also!

I'm cool with one single home game listings section. Not enough traffic to need all the subforums. Pretty sure we've never had more than 5 home games listed at one time at most.

I don't think the issue is with the older games, it's just that it's much better to be able to see all of the local game threads in one spot, versus having to click through each area individually.

I would have suggested going the other way and putting everything into one sub for all local games, regardless of where they are.

Also...... I am just assuming that the rules page is a joke. This place is fun because we can say F.U. Trigs and we can razz D.J. About his lovely girlfriend kicking his Lilly white ass all over the poker table or telling Comp he old as dirt .......

There has to be rules and these rule state excessive swearing if it's used to put someone down it's an issue if it's used to have fun joke around it's fine, we're all adults.

FYI the rules have not changed just reposted to be current date on them. I added the no Ass Hole Rule though

That might eliminate a lot of us.... Imagine if Kristy ever came back, MrCaspan would have a heart attack..

I think probably half on here have never read the rules before....

Rules only apply lin extreme cases, they are only there if you need a soap box to stand on! I only reposted them because if new people come and all the post are 10 years old... We need to get new life on here get some new fish swimming..

So do we want to merge the Ontario section into one large section then and not have it all split out?

Wow that is old!!! And it would not hurt to maybe get 500 printed up if anyone is good with design?

Hey speaking of old it seems that some of the provinces have not had posts in them since 2011.. do we want to merge down all the provinces into one? IE no sub forums for provinces just go to local games and that is it? unless PokerForum gets larger it seems like this would be better to just have 1 sub forum for all local games. Ideas, thoughts?

Makes perfect sense. If we do grow in the future then you can scale it accordingly.
