Ok. Let’s start with the part that I bought into the cash game for 1000 and cashed out 3770.

They only got 54 peeps for the Satellite. As per usual the tournament was very well run and the dealers in the tournament area were amazing. Milan, Matt, Other Matt , Lauren and the other blonde dealer ran the tables like bosses. Everything was amazing.

Then in we go over to the cash game area.... Card Dead had stopped in to say hello and I thought he was still there so I sat at 1-3 for a few mins till I texted him and he had an emergency at home to handle.... so I got off the 1-3 ASAP and sat in a juicy 2-5 game. I bought in for 1000 and there were 6 stacks with over 1500 .

Got paid with a full double up with 10 J when I flopped the straight on a 789 board. Guy bets out and I re-raise him 3x. Turn is another 9. Guy just shoves, i thought about for a second but if he had the 8-9 then I have to pay him off. In my head I was thinking over pair maybe jacks or queens.... he had A9 and the river bricked.

Played a few more fun ones , folded pocket kings twice when the ace hit the flop both times multi way. Both folds were correct, but man I hate folding kings when I have raised 4x and get 3 callers. Arrrrgggghhhhhh.....

last big hand of the night was a total misread by me. I raised to 35 with KQclubs get 2 callers flop comes KQ4 with 2hearts... guy leads out 100 I raise to 330 3rd guy folds 1st Guy shoves for about 1500. In my head if they had kings or queens they re-raise preflop .... so the only hand I am dead to is pocket 4’s.... no way he has pocket 4’s...... so I call....... well, he had pocket 4’s. Oh well...... it’s almost time for me to leave anyways....... but wait...... turn is 10...... oh noooo. River QUEEN. Bingo bango bongo.

Its nice to be on the right side of one of those in a decent sized pot. Left very shortly after that hand.

Now for the dirty. There are some really scummy players at Niagara. I saw a guy try and angle shoot on my table. He was facing a bet of maybe 200 on the river with about 650 in the pot and he clearly says call as he moves over 1000 in chips over the line. The first player flips over his cards and the second player says..... did he call my all in ?

WTF ? 8 of us heard him say call and the dealer also heard him say call. The call was upheld and the initial bettor lost the pot with kicker problems. Pure scummy move and he left shortly after.

the worst part of my visit was just as I had cashed out I went to the washroom to wash my hands and some disgusting savage threw his heavily soiled underwear on the floor. There was a garbage can 10 feet away but this filthy animal threw poop filled underwear on the floor.

i don’t know what to say. The guy must have been from Hamilton.

Trip report

had a blast today. Made it till the beginning of level 12 there were about 90 left out 448 day 1a starters.

pretty uneventful till just before dinner. During level 8 I had 50,000 and the average was 54,000. I was in the big blind with 10-3 off and guy minraised to 2000. I was big blind and already in for 1000 plus my ante.

i called and the flop came 10 10 K . Mmmmmmmm. Juicy

the bets 6500 into a 6k pot. I called.

turn is a 3 I bet 6500 and he raises me to 14,000. I shove he snaps with Ace King. Ace on the river but I double up to just under 100,000.

dinner comes..... I loose credit card roulette.....only 3 of us but bill was still stoooopid.

a couple hands after dinner I get pocket Aces. Guy had raised from 1200 to 3800 everyone folded and I raised to 9800.

he calls and the flop comes A 10 J. He shoves I snap call and cry when I see the KQ for a flopped straight. Queen on the turn and brick on the river.

shitfuck.

i was down to 40,000. Blinds are now 1000 2000-2000 ante and I get AK on the button. A guy raises to 6500 and I call. Flop comes A 9 6 guy shoves I snap call and I am on my way to the valet to get my truck when he flips over his pocket nines.

the structure in my opinion went up at a very reasonable rate. There was lots of play and I was happy with making it as far as I did with the table draws that I had . Was on 4 different tables and I felt like I was the worst player at 3 of the tables.

example...... I had peter chain, Jason James, buck Ramsey, James witkowski, Ryan rivers, Andy spears, DJ macinon, David ormsby, max drouge......all of these guys are murderers at the pokerz. So given my table draws I was happy with making it past dinner break.
