Comp (and wife) are going to Vegas Nov 6-11..

After getting my wife to fly to Dunedin in the spring after years of saying she was never flying again I finally convinced her to try Vegas. The lure of a huge variation of slot's I'm sure also played a big part. ;)

Staying at my old favorite, the Excalibur.. and I know you don't approve Moose but I actually like it and the newer tower is really quite good, maybe not up to Venetian or Wynn standards but at least comparable to Harrah's, MGM, etc... She will love the huge number of slot machines within a short walk, Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, MGM and NYNY. Likely will get her to take one trip up the strip just to see but she doesn't like crowds so we'll see. As for poker I will likely be limited to cash and the turbo daily tournaments at the south end but we'll see. Not all bad as I always seemed to rule at the Excalibur every time I played. Can't recall exactly but I think I would have better than a 50% cash rate there. Usually they were only like 3 tables, hopefully they still get that. likely will also play MGM's which are a little better structure. My biggest problem will be finding food that she can eat as she has so many allergies. Everything has to be so plain..

Meh I stayed at Luxor and IP. Any bed in Vegas works.

Try the Planet Hollywood tournies. Daily guarantee, mostly tourists, often there is an overlay and they like to chop when close to the money. Ez game.

**edit** Actually just looked at it again, the turbos are $200 and start at 9:10pm. Might be doable since she'll probably turn in early.
