For the third straight year with no improvements, it has one of the weirdest structures, payouts and rules I've ever seen in the world! :o You can finish 11th out of 1,600 total entries (99.3 percentile) and still not win a single cent! :arghh: With blinds at 100/200 and a min-raise of 200, if you put 775 chips out, your valid re-raise will be ruled invalid just because it's not double the previous bet! :confused: TDA Rules do not apply, welcome to Ontari-ari-ari-o.
The bottom line for me is that if I think I can beat the poker game, I'm willing to try it. I made money at the CNE last summer so I think I'm +EV again this summer. Just like the $550 Brantford and many other tournaments sell out in poker-hungry Ontario, all 1,600 $120 CNE entries will sell out again this month! :o My friend and I will be playing in the first semi-final next Wednesday, along with the infamous "Hash Tag King" and Ferrari George.
