We do not want to flip a coin at this stage as we have a significant skill edge over our competition and at worst we are dominated.
As admitted in the other thread.... I only play live cash games now... so my first question would be.... are online tournament players so tight that an EP open raise mean we have to set mine with JJ ?
I'd shoot myself rairly quickly!
If we 3-bet and he 4 bets, our hand plays too well post flop to 3 bet fold, so we must just call pre.
Not sure what you mean by our hand plays too well post flop.... if we 3bet and get 4bet back at.... I'm comfortable folding.... rarely have i seen a 4bet mean anything other than AA or KK.... unless we are at a dreamy LAG table.
If you're resigned to set mining, most hands play fairly easy post flop, and i don't think your JJ play well on non-set flops given you already think you're behind.
Once we hit our set, the only thing left is figuring out how to get the rest of our chips in the middle.
no problem here.
