What is the most you have made from one day of playing poker?

For me it was when I played 3/6NL and went on a crazy heater and profited $5,000 in a single session. That was the most I've ever won in a single day. This was actually my first time ever playing 3/6 and I thought poker was so easy.

I've also had 2 seperate times where I profited $2500 from 1/2 which was crazy as well.

This is a few years ago when the tables were crazy and not every person went on 2+2 like today.

Doubt I will ever see days like that again.

Before you guys get jealous, After those sessions most of the time I ended up losing that much and more in the coming weeks from "downswings''. After the $5000 3/6 session, I considered myself as a full time 3/6 player with a 12k roll and after that session I couldn't hit any cards at all and obliterated my roll in a span of 2 weeks.

I don't get a chance to play much but this was a 1-3 home game that was fun but got reallly silly near the end with your straddles that could be 40-80... lucky for me one of those hands I got AA and popped it up.. and it held.. was a stressful hand lol.

But i've recently started playing again.. mostly small cash games 50c-$1.. having fun which is the most important thing.

I'd actually really like to try and play a bit more serious and often but in the past i've just had a miserable time in the Casinos with people who think they are hot shit and make the game just unpleasant when someone loses an all in and it just constant whining.

Actually people in the casino are really really nice. Even most degenerates are usually really nice, it's just a few bad apples and miserable people.

People that think they are hot shit and are unpleasant is 99% a bad player and you should be happy that you will eventually take all of his money. Any really good player I've ever seen is really really chill and even keeled and doesn't care if he lost a pot.

One time at Dave's I finished second in the tournament then won another 2-300 at the cash game. Total was around $700. That was my biggest live.

Biggest online -- about a decade ago I won $1000 at 2/5 on Truepoker. I also finished 8th in a MicroMillions and that prize was worth $1300ish. That was a BAP though so I got half of that total.
