Irishfish99;388179 wroteI have played poker for approximately 8 years at the tables and on line. I recently created an account on PokerStars and deposited 300.00 Canadian on a BMO US MasterCard. The exchange came to 258.02 US I then deposited that to my new account. PokerStars converted it AGAIN I ended up with 227.40 ! I sent over 8 emails to see what could be done to rectify this issue. All I got was slammed saying it was my fault for not reading the terms I agreed too blaa blaa blaa when I clicked accept. At no point was I offered a tournament credit in fact... Get this I was handed over to the Security division when I requested a payout of my 258.00 and told them I would never play their site again. They have frozen my account and are asking for employment record, paystubs, asset holdings and on and on and on. LOL !!!!!! This Multi Million dollar corporation has forgotten about the players. Absolutely appalled on how I have been treated. NEW Players BEWARE!!
Ummm PS did not rip you off.
Not sure how you deposited to a mastercard, but w/e.
You can only deposit in Canadian funds from a credit card, the so called missing funds would be on your mastercard.
Your $258 was Canadian funds not US.
They are asking for the information from you to protect the players from multi-accounters / under age etc.... oh wait. :D
Good luck with this and consider it a lesson learned.
