its not about getting attention for yourself by doing something "crazy", its about doing something for the cause at hand

we did one at work, they were doing construction next door so we borrowed their excavator. took 6 XL brute cans of water and 10 bags of ice to fill the bucket, which they then dumped on all of the team leaders, myself included.

the guy was telling us about how if you dump it right you can crush a car with that much water...

we had a good time and we raised some money. ALS is serious shit and while rare it takes a lot of resources to take care of someone who has it. Whether the videos are stupid or not, and whether or not it's just another fad, I'm glad to see the money going there.
