The $125 "deepstack" has a 10.62 patience factor. Despite the advertising anything below $230 there is on the turbo side.
That being said I was there on Sunday too and thought I should mention that there have been some changes in the poker room.
You must now have a winner’s circle card to register for any poker tournament. NO POINTS- I was told they are working on it and hopefully soon. They were signing people up in the registration line. Hopefully they will work out the kinks soon, but the line was long and seemed to be moving at a snails pace.
Call in registration will no longer be available on the day of a tourney, in person only. You can still call in advance, just not on the same day of the tourney you plan to play.
You must now stand up from your chair and back away from the table if you plan to pull your phone out-not sure what old rule was.
BBJ qualifying hands is now quads over quads.
Not sure if I’m remembering everything from the board they had posted with the new rules.
I asked about next week's $550 and was told the blind levels and time for the blinds are the same. 20 minute levels and the blind structure they have are not what I want to play for a $550.
The $550 deep stacks are 40min blind levels. not 20min.
Dj’s right. Hope whoever told you this just made a mistake and this is not part of the new rules- that would be terrible.
