Jetsker13;366537 wroteHey all, names Jetsker from Alberta and I'm pretty new to Poker. Played very casually for about a year and have been a small winner in Micro SnG. I have only played a few Live games that didn't include buddies and booze.
I've read a few books and tried a few different strategies, I was really curious as to where and how to analyze a hand. I noticed a lot of people suggesting that posting and discussing hands is a good way to do it. Is there a more personal approach that people use to look at hands? I've heard of programs that let you mark a hand as you play it and go back and review or post it?
Thanks in advance all!
There are many different programs such as poker tracker and holdem manger, which can track and save all your hands, also it has a HUD where you can use while playing. I personally find it very useful, I use holdem manger.
Also for calculating equity this is a very good link,
Texas Hold'em Odds Calculator
For knowing a range of hands, lets say you want to know what cards is a villain's range if he is opening late position 20% of the time.. you can check this..
Poker Range | Poker Hand Range Calculator
If you would like to talk about any hand, you can use "hand history" which is in most online poker websites (if not all) and copy and paste it on the forum and discuss it etc...
Cheers.
