Death Penalty advocates generally cite our lack of a "true" life sentence when making their case. One less spurious argument for them to foist upon us.

It's a bit of a big deal, as it paves the way for future Bernardos to be given sentences that do NOT allow for "faint hope" or review of any kind.
What is amazing is how willing these so-called Conservatives are to meddle in the free market and tell corporations how to run their businesses. Maybe they should just put price controls on cable and cell phone bills and be done with it? After all, they did steal most of those ideas from the NDP anyway.
Cable providers would be moving to a la carte soon as a means to compete with on-line resources like Netflix, so no argument from me.

The Death Penalty is wrong on many levels . . .
