Has anyone been?

For about a year I've received these Total Rewards offer to take chartered flight, 3 nights and transportation for $200 a person.

I must say I'm seriously considering as a quick winter getaway, you can barely go out to the movies for that these days.

That's so cheap but still wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who has been.

I didn't stay at the hotel but checked out a lot of the casino resorts at Laughlin. I think it's better for a family vacation if you don't want to grind poker at the Las Vegas Strip. It is by the Colorado River so you can Ski-Doo and do other water activities.

Yeah I thought the river was beautiful. Harrah's even has a small beach, though in the winter I guess you wouldn't use it. The poker room there will likely have 3-6 limit though there are tons of other casino's within walking distance that have poker.

But Nevada winter? I would think November beach might still be good for us Canucks?

Most of Nevada has snow in the winter. Las Vegas will be 60-65 degrees.
