We left today for Chicago for a weekend of degen homegames. En route we stop in overnight at Caesars Windsor.

It's been a hard few weeks at work so I was pretty tired already as we loaded up the car to head for Windsor. STG saves me at the reststop from driving head on into a curb. So thanks for coming Steve #1.

We check in and I want to shoot craps as it is late already and for the next three days we will be playing poker nonstop for the next three days. We shoot for about 1.5hrs but I am fading fast so we pull our chips down a couple hundo each. STG has got the gamble bug huge. Clearly stoked for the weekend the first words he says as we walk away are "I wonder if there are any $5 BJ tables". I deflect him temporarily by heading for the cage to cash out. Cash in hand next he decides to check out the pokerroom. I head up a level intending to go to bed. Steve still has this half glaze/half gleam look in his eye and by the time we get to the top of the escalator he switches again and decides to go find a video poker machine.

Before we separate he saves me again by pointing out I was headed for the wrong tower. Mumbling thanks I about-face and head the correct way. So tired, I actually space-walk past my room twice before I come to enough to get my key in the right door.

Anyways tomorrow Chicago! And gambool, and degenaments and all the things!
