Tony's G I'm new here obv, my name is Carlo - this is a cool site, I hope I can add some photos and videos that celebrate the game. PokerForum.ca is cool cause there's less complaining and more celebration of the game. I've been working in the poker industry for years always with the goal of transitioning away from shilly sales materials to fun celebrations of what makes us all love the game of poker: the juicing, the characters, the culture and the way people react to the cruel wild swings. I've worked for and with Tony G and his Lithuanian outfit PokerNews for many years, I have some funny stories and characters to share! I run xxxxxxxxx -- BUT I'm not here to shill, I'm here to chill and share with this cool community. Carlo
compuease Welcome to our site but please don't post links to poker sites like that. I know you didn't have any intention of "shilling" but please read forum rules linked below, especially rule #6. http://www.pokerforum.ca/f34/everyone-read-new-members-read-before-posting-rules-pokerforum-ca-7691/
BlondeFish Welcome. Do you know why Tony G left PartyPoker? Tony's G;354541 wroteI've worked for and with Tony G and his Lithuanian outfit PokerNews for many years, I have some funny stories and characters to share!

jontm BlondeFish;354573 wroteWelcome. Do you know why Tony G left PartyPoker? He figured it was conflict of intrest since he started his own site. Far as I know Head PR guy for Bwin still also works for Tony so obv no tension with either party...ICYWTK
Tony's G Hi --- Ya it was an amicable breakup with Party, he's concentrating on Tonybet, private cash games and other eastern euro stuff like his "Tony Resort" in Lithuania. The avatar is Sergio Momesso, one of my favorite Canucks goons, absolute goon. Sorry but I dislike your Leafs and your Habs equally! Momesso was in the press box for the habs in '93, after the celebrations he took this completely undeserved picture.
kwsteve Umm, no. That would have been 1986. He didn't get his name on the Cup but they gave him a ring and included him in the team picture. By '93 he was with the Canucks, and he had a good playoff in '94 to help them get to the Finals. And he wasn't an "absolute" goon. For a goon he scored nearly half a point per game over 700+ games.
