I've been reading this forum as a guest for a little while but have just joined as a member now.

A bit about me...I've been playing NL poker for a bit over a year now, mostly online, and would like to play some more live poker in my area (Toronto).

To be brutally honest, I'd say I'm an ok player at best, I've managed to keep my $100 starting bankroll intact (currently sitting at $159). I mostly prefer tournaments and sit-n-go's.

So, any advice on live poker tournament strategy would be greatly appreciated...I'm actually playing in one tonight so wish me luck!

Welcome to the forum! We have regular forum tourneys on Sundays and Thursday evenings if you're interested. Lots of good information on here to read as well.

Thanks! I'm interested in the forum tourneys, could you please let me know how I can play in them, where do I sign up, buy-in, blind structure, prize pool, etc?

Or if you'd like, you could just point me in the right direction on where I can go to find this info, thanks again.
