Apparently there are some poker rooms there. Anyone know anything about or experiences?

I've been to Dominican Republic a couple of times, and my favourite casino there is Ocean World Casino. It also has the Ocean World Adventure Park where you can swim with the dolphins. Be sure to bring US dollars as my friend and others who went to the CPT Poker Championship only brought Canadian dollars, and converting money to U$ then back to Cdn $ was a rip-off so they did not play in the fishy poker tables.

By the way, I still have a $5 chip from DR in case a collector wants it and will see me in a live event (WPT Montreal?).

Ive found out that my resort has a small casino with 2 poker tables.... if enough players want to start up a game they will offer $1/$2 or $2/$5 cash games. fingers crossed. I'll be collecting a chip or 2 for my display, from any casino I frequent.
