Hey guys;
Something has been nagging at me for a while now, and I need to come clean to all of you, including myself. I have been away and banned for a while, and it was good. Gave me time to reflect on myself, where I'm at in my life , and where I'm going.
I want to come clean and be totally honest with all of you about my "going pro" dreams, what really happened, how I fared, and where I'm going with my life.
I first off want to start this by saying "you were right" . There's no way I had a) the finances b) the stability c) the mind set or d) the maturity.
However, this is just the beginning of my tale. I will recap memorable moments, the lucky breaks I got, some about the Irish girl, what really happened.
This will get TL;DR and if you don't want to read that's fine. I just want to share my tale of IRL happenings so that maybe if anyone else wants to go for it, they dont make the mistakes I made. I was just trying to follow my dream.
Before I even went to Vancouver, I had broken up with a girl that I had been seeing for quite a while. I was in a pretty bad state of mind and knew I needed a change. A friend of mine who had me out last spring told me "Dude, get out here and start grinding and doing what you love to do, and stop being a whiny bitch over a girl that doesn't want you." So, the next thing I know, within 24 hours I had a place lined up, a plan ticket bought, and was on my way.
I recall telling the tale of how I was scammed by a fella who was taking deposits from many people, but not giving the place. Somehow I was the lucky one to get the place. Here is a video:

so there was step 1. I had a place to sleep/live for 1 month, even after being scammed, the rightful owners of the place let me, of 18 people that got scammed , stay at the condo. #rungood
So this is where my tale of poker, the real deal with my finances, and everything else comes into play... (cont'd)
(going to post this is increments, gives me time to breathe)
