I looked at Casino Rama's tournament structures and they are still as bad as five years ago when I last looked at them! It's the only room I've seen that still has the blinds/round more than double; the cost per round of 300 in level 4 jumps to 700 in the next level. The Patience Factor is less than 9 and the Skill Level is 5.
The Skill Level 6 tournaments at
Brantford and GBH are much better to play. I'm surprised that Rama would get ~80 gamboolers out of the 100 seats to pay $400 for only the chance to spend up to $5K of your prize in a non-WSOP event with 30% tax, with no cash-out option.
By the way, Penn National Gaming has a management contract with Casino Rama since 2001, and acquired The M Resort in 2011.

I believe their event had 80 entries and paid about top 10%(I may be wrong on this) with top 3 winning a pkg.
