I could snack on a apple but that bag of chips is just so easy. Maybe I need to do a Cerb-esque prop bet to lay off the unhealthy snacks. Luckily I have the time to hit the gym (which I love to do) so that's not an issue.
Another goal for this year is to get my Commercial Pilots Licence. The training is going to be much more difficult than the Private, but I am up to the challenge.
I can honestly say that, at the end of it last night, I didn't think I'd want to eat cookies again. Then about an hour ago, I tossed back a couple and thought "damn, these are pretty good". As long as you avoid the crazy binge at the end, the month off will do you wonders. Other tips:
-Drink more water.
-Eat less salt. Even if you're getting fries from places, ask them for no salt. While you're still getting the oils and empty carbs, you'll have less water retention from having so much less salt in your diet.
-Add more protein, especially after workouts. Even an extra 5g per meal/snack is going to make a world of difference in your results from working out.
-Do your cardio in the morning before eating. Haven't done much research on it, but the wrestlers swear by it.
