that's better. Thanks for posting this Milo. I'm not a huge jazz fan but definitely a fan of good music and musicians.

Yeah . . . Jazz for me is a bit hit or miss. I do like most of what I have heard from Brubeck and Take Five is what got me started (as it did for most). What struck me most about Brubeck is the sheer volume of artists in other genres who thought the guy was a genius. I mean, it is one thing for the critics to fall in love with a band like the Sheepdogs for a couple months, or to drag Jay-Z's ball-sac to the sidewalk telling him how great he is . . . but when the people that you think are pretty damn awesome turn around and say things like, "if you think that's good you should try this . . .", well, you know there has to be something substantial there.
