Got Fucked by Time Out Bug

Flop nut straight, I bet turn and then lose connection. Buddy raises me and I don't reconnect in time and lose the hand including my turn bet. Not the first time it's happened to me.

Last week I was dealt AA after getting nothing for an hour and the same thing happens: time out and fold the hand. The client reconnects both times immediately after in time for the next hand. I should add that my internet normally works flawlessly with rarely any downtime.

Is it all just a coincidence?

Steve don't be so quick to assume you aren't losing your internet connectivity.. If you lose it for a minute or so while browsing you may never realize it but it's deadly for online poker.
You may want to use some connectivity monitoring software to tie into when you have an issue.

I hear you. I know I'm losing my internet connection, but always at the most inopportune times. The vast majority of the time I play there are no glitches at all, like 99% of the time. I'm not saying that it's rigged. More like I've got dj's kind of luck.

But I'll try one of those programs and check it.

But since it's come back, happened like 3-4 times on FTP... anyone else?

happened to me one time when I was playing Zoom on the Go train. Got dealt KK and raised pre-flop and was re-raised. My screen went blank and then when it reconnected I only had time to push (figured I better push in case I lost the connection on the flop). Had to wait a few minutes to see if the other player called and whether I won the hand.

Yep, happens to me on tilt too...get a "not responding" faded screen for a short bit...then all back to normal.
