Eh so I have $200 to spend, I haven't decided if I should buyin $100 or $200 and have the option to top up or not.
I guess Im playing whatever NLHE is available, Im not ready for PLO too new to it. I think the only game is going to be 9 player 1/2 no limit.
If you only have $200 to take a shot at 1/2 then I wouldn't really follow the advice in my other thread...that is more of a LAG style that increases long-term profits but also greatly increases short-term variance.
With $200 to work with I may actually recommend buying in very short ($50) and playing all in or fold preflop until you double once then adjusting, but it depends on your intentions in the game.
Are you just playing for fun? Are you going to be very upset about losing $200? How does the game play (you have been there before, correct?) -- is it generally 7 people limping in preflop or is there usually a raise and a few callers preflop, a raise and 7 callers preflop?
