jontm Not at all right of entirely true, but.... Story via Kevmath via Timex World¿s number one poker player wins £7.3m in two nights -- but top London casino REFUSES to pay out and launches internal inquiry | Mail Online
Milo See the slot machine thread in the OT Lounge . . . how do you know a table game is malfunctioning? Easy . . . if the player wins, a malfunction/cheating has to have occured.
jdAA88 "Although he is a respected figure in the poker world, casinos regard him as a ‘hit and run’ gambler, with a tendency to ‘quit after just a few hands if he wins big’. " hmm so that's why he's not a busto degen lol LDO
Richard~ Mr Ivey declined to comment when approached by a Mail on Sunday reporter at a tournament in Cannes last week. ‘Please don’t talk to me. I am concentrating on my tournament,’ he said. This is fucking gold x)
SuitedPair This part is just hilarious, His mother, Pamela Ivey, who lives in Las Vegas, said: ‘He never mentioned it. It can’t have been very important to him, or I think he’d have mentioned it.’ .....yeah.....7 milly pounds, no biggie
Makaton To me this is just another reason why I hate casinos. Can't Phil find another way to entertain himself? He'd be better off using his skills for the odds working for the cia or something. The bloody casinos, this one run by some group from Malaysia don't care how fast you lose your money but if you win they wonder why you hit and run on them. Obviously, upon some directive from the top about paying out large sums people are worried about their jobs now after the shit has hit the fan. It's only a matter of time before a winning player gets banned so why waste your time at casino games? For 99.999% of the games are heavily -EV anyways. Boo hoo, such a huge sum to pay after only a few hours? Too bad! Pay the man scumbags!
getem76 They did'nt have funds on site probably lol, and think they can escape without paying anyway...Wait till he slaps em with 50 mill lawsuit to make the news, they will pay and go back to business lol!
