Yes, I knew about this pretty well right after it happened.
In past years I've directed at the event, and if I had decided to go this year I likely would have been in charge of that division.
The funny part to me has been reading the news reports since I know the information that the press was given, but as the articles progress it's like the old "telephone" game... each one changes the information a little bit so that it becomes more and more distorted.
Example: This article claims that the kid (13 years old) was "one of the best players in Scrabble". Not really... the National Scrabble Association director told the press that he was "One of the best YOUTH players in Scrabble" (still not true, but I digress).
