Idk, I personally could play this hand, view it as a bad beat but immediately be like "im oi, standard, let's move on".
No I'm not saying that and this has always been strange to me that others don't immediately see this, but I teach it through Jiu Jitsu.
He is concentrating on the parts of this game he cannot change, im not worried about tilt, I'm worried about non growth.
These hands he posts happen to me and you in the exact same way the exact same number of times. People don't realize that but if you'ved played 10k number of games you go through it constantly.
The interrelated opposite would be thinking you should make money in poker because you 5bet jammed pocket Aces and won a giant pot vs. KK. You didn't win anything in this hand, its just auto.
We only win money by playing hands better than break even and profitable players if they are in our shoes in the same spots. We don't win money by getting it in vs fish, everyone does that there is no edge thus profit in it.
You don't want to think about you vs villain in a certain hand....its you vs. the poker field...and you have to make better decisions than the field.
Edit: and yes the not tilting thing is a bonus to understanding how this game works.
Edit2: hence why tony guerrara can claim he is untiltable.
