Have been really weak lately. On three occations have I had to call a chat mod back to the table once or twice after the person flaming me kept on flaming after the moderator left the first time, on occation even flaming for calling the first mod.

I deal with douchebags all the time but if the system is broken that creates a problem. It usually goes something like this

mod: hello players, thank you for keeping the chat clean and respectful at all times
mod: we will allow friendly banter, if you have a problem with a particular player feel free to use the "block chat" function
douche: ahahaha, gay called mod
mod: thank you for your understanding and enjoy your game

then we repeat the proccess 5 minutes later. a good moderator usually doesn't thank the player flaming while he's at a table for his understanding of the rules

if I understand you correctly what I did was keep bringing it up if it continued, about 5 minutes apart, until I moved tables, mod didn't really do anything

We do have a feature by which certain profane or otherwise unacceptable words are asterisked out; a filtered word is one that has been deemed unacceptable on our poker site. Players attempting to bypass the filter may also be subject to a warning or suspension of chat privileges.

Non-English chat: We are aware that our players are from around the world, and that for many of them English is not their first language. However, at this time our policy on most tables is that English is the only language allowed to be used in PokerStars chat. On a small number of tables and in a small number of regional tournaments, chat may be allowed in a particular language and in English. These tables and tournaments will be clearly labeled. If you are not comfortable with non-English chat, please do not join these tables or tournaments.

Malicious Behavior: It is strictly prohibited for a User to use Chat for any malicious or offensive behavior, including but not limited to collusion, fraud, spam, and/or harassment. Users shall not make statements about PokerStars that are untrue or would reasonably be considered to be derogatory or critical. Users should be generally aware of the feelings of other customers and PokerStars staff and Chat Moderators, and should act in a respectful manner.

i don't even look at the chat. could care less what the flaming fish has to say to me.

i usually the info tab on for MTTs anyway.

I'm pretty thick skinned myself, I play league of legends after all x)

Same two things gets to me in both games tho

1. Somewhere out there flamers are really hurting some insecure kid
2. You've set your rules, how can anyone take your company seriously if you're not enforcing them
