Actually, if you read his writings on his early days, it was more the underground games around TO. He was definitely gone to Vegas by the time Niagara/Fallsview got poker.

Yup he played at the underground and some of the charity places and weekends he flew to vegas.

I have played at some of the underground clubs he used to frequent...I can see why he crushed them, the games haven't improved lol

I remember reading the first time he tried out he ended up getting crushed and had to move back in with his parents (Did he switch to NL?) I'd love to read more about that.
