I just won a $8 satellite to the $215 special sunday million with 10mill guaranteed. This isn't a brag lol.

I'm just curious if you think I should play it or just take the t-money. I don't ever play stakes that high, I normally play 45 and 180 man sngs and micro MTTs.

slow and steady wins, so I'd recommend taking the money and try to improve at your current level. Almost no one does this though, people like taking shots

If you can afford it, you can treat this like the lottery. If the money is significant to you, then spend it wisely and manage your bankroll.

why would you play a satellite to a tournament that you don't want to play?

really depends what your current bankroll is (i.e. what level do you actually play)?

I normally play $2.50 and $3.50 sngs... I registered just to play the sng and take the t money and spend it. But because its for the huge tourny on dec 18th with the 10 mill prize pool, i'm rethinking not playing in it.

imo a bigger field is the opposite of a reason for me to elect to play above my bankroll. Even if you cash you're only gonna win 1 or 2 times your BI unless you make it crazy deep

i normally don't take the "big" risks and would probably keep the money...but $10 mil...

If it was just the regular Sunday Million, I'd say keep the tourney money as there is always one next Sunday. However, this is a guaranteed $2 million to the winner and so what if you min cash for $430, you're still better off than now.

Only way I don't play it, is if it is your last $200 online, then no, don't play it, but if you are already rolled for the stakes you play, why not?

Personally I think everybody should be playing this tourney or at least trying to sat into this tourney. 10mil tourney for $200!!!!

Continue to play sats, there should be tons of easy ones happening, then keep the t$ from those winnings.

Don't look at it like a $200 tourney. Look at it like an $8 tourney with a $10m prizepool. :)
