So happy that Francisco and ranch signed with the mets, great scouting there. Hopefully we get yu, maybe Beltran as well.

Heard Fielder's name too
Damn rangers, now I hope he sucks.

Not exactly "glad" they didn't get Darvish but I'm in the camp that thinks spending the money on proven MLB performers like Fielder is the better way to compete pronto.
Adding Gio Gonzalez and Fielder would thrill me.

They're tied for first, don't worry about it.

New logo - virtually the same as the old logo. I'm no graphic designer, so I didn't really care that they used two different fonts.

See in the old logo it was all one font.

But when you go to Bluejays.com, you see what a dumb mistake that was. This looks horrible. This is their secondary logo. Awful.

Wrong bush. Dave Bush was the ex-Jay.....still pitching in Philly I believe.
Matt Bush is a former first overall pick of the Padres and ended up with the Rays....now it seems he's done.

Matt Bush had a cup of coffee with the Blue Jays in 2009. I think he was released before the season even started tho
I stand corrected. He spent 49 days in the Jays system.....not sure how I missed that. ;)

Lolz. Good 'ol Buck. In the WTF were they thinking department, Sportsnet puts these two chicks on TV. After a few seconds of silence, Buck throws in 'JP has a lot of young fans'.

The first TP since '79! Well, if you don't include the '92 World Series. Stoopid ump, Deion Sanders was OUT!!!!

Not Blue Jays but Phil Humber of Chi White Sox pitched a perfect game today, apparently his first career complete game. Nice.

How long do we figure to stick with the guy for? 3/4 have been rally killers so far.
I'd guess Lind has until the end of current road trip (10 more), maybe one more series at home if he gets a couple days off on the trip, to show some signs of life. EE/Thames/Lawrie probably all move up with some sort of unnecessary R/L splitactyper;314935 wroteHow long do we figure to stick with the guy for? 3/4 have been rally killers so far.
I really wish he would go for a jog in the outfield and shag some flies. :(
Sick. First b2b complete game shutouts since Key and Stieb in 88.
No idea why the put Drabek out for the 6th. He held on for 5 innings to allow only 2 runs. This never made sense and the Angels blow it open in the 6th.
Or apparently half the road trip was enough. Today's lineup has Lind hitting 8th with EE/Thames/Lawrie/Rasmus all moved up a spotPinhead;314948 wroteI'd guess Lind has until the end of current road trip (10 more), maybe one more series at home if he gets a couple days off on the trip, to show some signs of life. Maybe Lind can close, then we could get him out of the lineup completely. Not like he could be worse
