I already went through the whole process and they allowed me to create a new account, I closed the other account as my log in ID was the same as almost everything else I have. They agreed that it was too much personal info for the million ppl on PS to see.

There are some VERY experienced members here who do not believe you legitimately can change your Stars id. They are VERY firm on that. If you get reported they will confiscate any funds you have in all accounts. Do you have any emails confirming Stars aggreement for you to have a new account? You will need that to defend yourelf.

His explanation does have some merit as I've seen it done on a few occasions.

It's one of the very few reasons that they accept, although you'd think their system would prevent you from creating accounts with your name/DOB in them.

Got the PM and it "looks" legit. However it's not us you need to defend yourself against, it's Stars themselves.

FYI to the rest of you, the copy of the email Roland sent to me is well written and in excellent English so I don't think it's our friend Fed. :)

I am on good terms with PS so no worries there, they get a good percentage of my income every year....lol
