Movowelling Hi everyone. Im new to the forum (writing anyway) and i wanted opinions however harsh or productive on my bust on the bubble in an 80 player field bounty tournament. I make it to the final table and have about 5 thousand less than the average stack and find myself to the left of the short stack by four seats. He min raises to 2400$ (behind another 5000$) and it gets to me with no other callers and im sitting on a stack of about 17000. hole cards : AcQc. I re-raise all in with puck to my left one seat. everyone folds and he takes a couple min to finally call the raise. turns over 9-9. i dont catch up. Is this a hand i should have just called? Or was the play right but i lost the race? I only ask as it was my first B/M tourney and i want to improve, naturally. Anyway, i was fortunate to skate away 550 with the bounty chips and 25$ we all agreed to pay the bubbleboy. A decent profit, but im left somewhat disappointed. thanks in advance, -mo
Wetts1012 I would say it would be helpful to know what the blinds are at this point but the assumption in a $80 b/m tournament that we are in push / fold mode, so good shove.
betrthanphil Your leaving out a lot of information, what were the blinds? And considering he only had 7400 and you had 17000, you shouldve still had chips left? But sounds like a pretty standard hand anyways, but when telling a hand you need to give all the information.
