my thought process: very early in tourney (maybe 4-6 hands in). I was fairly certain, from what reads I had, at least one if not both the other players would come along. I know if I don't hit my set, I'm done, if I do I'm getting paid.

You have implied odds if you can get in cheap at a weak table that will stack off to bottom set.
Once sombody raises to 140 you don't have enough implied odds.
