iPhone for $400

A friend at a Christmas party showed me a new black iPhone with 16 GB that they had won, but needs the cash and is willing to sell it for ~$400. Doing an online price search, iPhone seems to sell for over $650 including 13% sales tax. If anybody is seriously interested in picking it up from Hamilton, PM me and I will give you their contact info.

Going to be a tough sell at $400 as most cell companies have them for $199 with a 3 year activation

The iPhone is brand new and still wrapped in plastic, so I would think you get to choose the best network plan instead of having to commit to a 3-year contract and ending up paying much more for your phone.

It still has to be CDMA or GSM...

check with your friend about manufacturer.. if its rogers, and new.. id consider paying 300 for it.

The phone has to be one or the other (ie. you can't use a GSM phone on Telus, or a CDMA phone on Rogers)

I'd be interested if it's a Telus branded phone.
