Hand 1: This happened after hand 2 actually. Villain in this hand is THE reason why I have doubled my stack and more within a few orbits. LAGtard and is in about 80% of the hands thus far. (I'm glad I have position on him)

Anyone folding here?

Hand 2: I haven't played for long, probably second or third orbit in and haven't had history with any of the players (haven't played PLO in awhile).

Pretty sure I'm shouldn't really fold the river but just wanted to see what others think.
Also what is the ideal bet size on the turn?

I'm a bit worried I'm stationing too much...small sample size but more to come.

Hand 1 if you have decent history on the opponent then you can't fold on a drawing board like that given the money already in the middle. The only thing is that I haven't played this limit for a long time and I'm pretty sure a set is at the top of his range as I don't think players push drawing hands too much at .5/1, could be wrong.

Hand 2 I fold at .5/1 without a good read on a paired board vs 2 players. I think a good turn bet is zero to control pot size if you want to call down on the river to get some reads on the player for later. Him donking out his stack on the river I'm almost certain that you're beat here 90% of the time at this limit.

1) Redraws: 0. Without a read, easy fold. With your read... has he been calling a lot or raising his draws?

2) Best bet on the turn is definitely $0. As played, fold river all day.

Hand 1 - Yeah it is frustrating to have a great hand like that and a dry flop which in theory may be ok but is it? You have a pair. Likely at the end you will have a pair.

If this guy shoves to showdown every hand blind then yeah I guess go for it, but I am having a hard time seeing what you are ahead of much here, and a lot of hands that a 100% VPIP guy will play will be way ahead of you.

I just wonder if better spots can be had.

Hand 2 - I kind of hate the bet on the turn. I guess I would ask what hand are you hoping calls you that you beat that will then pay off a stack on the river? Again, if the player is utterly dumb bad (which some are) then this may be the right play, but it feels a bit spewy without knowing the opponent. If he showed up with a straight or a low flush I would be surprised I guess.

If you think your hand is still best wouldn't checking the turn to induce a bluff on the river be better here? Again , maybe if the opponent calls with any hand (which some may do) then getting the stack in is fine, however I would feel much better calling $25 on the river then what you had to do.

I hate to sound nitty, but I just do not like either of these scenarios for you that much, though I do understand how frustrating they can be, especially against bad players/ That is when I tend to make some of my errors as well for what it is worth, something I am working on :)

If you played in it, fill us in on how it went. I am not a huge fan of live casino play, despite doing well each time, mainly because it tends to be not a fun place to play. However, I can only imagine how silly the Omaha games would be.

1 is really player dependant but in theory should be ok since you have a lot of equity vs 2 pair and some blockers against straight draws. A lot of guys who play 80% f hands are actually really passive postflop though.

2 is pretty bad though check turn and do not call river ever

He hit the K-high flush on the turn? Depending on the table I probably would have played the first hand the same way. I hate shoving all-in on draws, but you aren't really risking too much, and if the table is very aggressive you can get it back in no time.

This is the level I've been playing this month as well:

1.) Likely behind 2 pair or against pair & straight draw...don't like either scenario....but I call most players in this spot.

2.) Easy check turn to keep pot small......I will rarely call any signifcant amount with a straight or flush on a paired board......more often than not, they have it.
