Games Running In Or Around Toronto On Weeknights

Was recently let go from work and been playing poker regularly on the weekends. I was wondering if anyone can let me know if theres a game going on Mon and Wed nights. I would prefer 1-2 nl but would play 5-5 nl. Any help would be appreciated.

Well since there are tons I would appreciate some referrals. PM is key. I want to make some new poker friends as well so the drive to Seneca or Fallsview wont be as long. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

its funny how careful people have become these days. Maybe we should now remove the Club section of this forum as no clubs use it and if anyone asks about a club, they don't get any feedback anyways. I will PM some suggestions.

What? You have to qualify? Ive been a member for a while now and just usually lurk and read because quite frankly I didnt have the time because of work to post. Im looking for anywhere in the GTA area. I do appreciate the reply.

Gotta spend Monday evening "proving" myself instead of playing cards. Unreal. Would have really appreciated the help from fellow members. =(

Sorry man, I would have updated it no problem if I could verify your IP address, but I can't, its not traceable.... Who is your ISP? These rules are simply put in place to protect the members of the community. Often people will register to PM spam and do other shady things.... by having a min 25 post (which really isn't that much) it simply ensures that people actually want to be part of the community, get to know you, and ensure that you intend on contributing.

Im a part of a few other bigger poker forums like 2 plus 2 and pocket 5's and none of these posts require you to have a 25 post minimum. As well if you look at my join date its been a while. If I was five - O I think I would have made my move by now. I understand your position and obviously my word and my (lack of) credibility doesn't mean much around here. Just sucks because I joined a poker forum to exchange info not to hide and not share it. I know of a couple games that run tonight but I don't like playing there because there are too many weasels and I don't feel comfortable in that type of game.

Unfortunately Im using a blackberry for most of my personal emails. If I was to post my email I will be promoting and letting ppl know I want spam and their rake back affiliate online poker deals. So thats not an option for me. I just want to play poker tonight and I really just want to be a member of this forum and community. Is that unreasonable on my part?

No idea why my IP Address is not traceable. I definately do not have the time nor am I willing to put out the effort to spam or pull weasel moves.

Carpooling to Fallsview/Seneca makes a lot of sense, so let me know if you are interested. As I was leaving the Fallsview poker room last week after a winning session, a busted 5/10 player decided to hitch a ride with me back towards Toronto instead of rebuying while sleepy and waiting one hour for the next bus. A friend and I might carpool from Oakville to Fallsview this Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, and on March 27 to Seneca.

I agree that 25 posts is unreasonably high just to allow PMs. Many long-time members are too busy or too intimidated by the flame wars or unfriendly replies to ever post 25 times.

Finally someone that agrees with me and the point Im trying to bring up. I understand the need to weed out the weasels, snakes, and raccoons from spamming and snitching. Instead of posting 25 times how about a probation period or something. Im also quite disappointed in the admin's for not noticing the efforts that Im putting trying to get the right amount of posts and lifting it. From what I understand forums are used to give, recieve, and share information. What I have learned today is being a member of this site shows and means nothing. Its really not fair because some of us have families and jobs to handle and take care of and simply don't have the time to post. I don't know anymore.

I love how you have ignored a potential solution to your problem at least three times now. Just post your email address. Don't want to, make up a new one at hotmail and post that.

For god's sake though, just relax. This forum has had tons or problems with spammers, and other douche bags, and I'd rather have someone post twenty five times then deal with shitty pm's for services I don't want or need.

It's not so unreasonable as to require you to act all wounded about it.

Listen dinobot, with all due respect im not trying to cause issues here and I am very very relaxed. I'm here to meet new poker buddies and find games thats all. I just find it very unfair for the legit wannabe members like me that have to deal with the inconvience of not having the ability to us the PM function. As for posting the email, its my right to choose not to post my email and I guess Im staying home tonight because of that choice. I have a right to privacy just like you do. I have enough email addresses as it is for business, work, as well as a personal one so creating another one just for this site is not an option. So instead of telling me to relax and basically telling me straight up that I am wrong, why don't you find out my reasons for not going that with that option. Like I said i honestly just want to be a member. So far Im definately not being treated like one.
